Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a great fall.
As the leaves turn from green to rustic red and orange and the temperatures dip below 50, I always find myself gravitating towards fall colors in my wardrobe. Every year around this time I start trading my pastels and popping bright colors for more subdued, earthy tones that match the changing weather. Stick around for some of my fave nail polish shades for fall!
This year, I’ve been loving a good nude polish. Whether it’s got a pink or purple undertone or leans more toward brown, I just feel like there’s something so beautiful about a barely-there nail look. My ultimate go-to is Essie’s Lady Like. It’s a gorgeous light nude with a pink undertone, which is pretty perfect for my pale skin. But if you have a deeper olive or darker skin tone, this color will be equally gorgeous on you!
I’ve also been drawn to taupe recently. I love, love, LOVE a good taupe with grey and purple undertones, and these pretty hues are shaping up to be a major trend this fall. I’ve linked three of my faves above, but I also really like Essie’s Chinchilly as a more cool-toned option. It tends to lean grey in photos, but it has a nice purple undertone in person.
Of course, green and brown hues are always a great fit for fall. I’ve been leaning toward Essie’s Exposed, which is a deep forest green. (Are we sensing a theme here? LOL.) You really can’t go wrong with a medium brown or deep chocolate polish, either.
If you’re sick of neutrals, you’re in luck! This season, tons of brands revamped their traditional fall colors with a little metallic touch. Revlon, Essie, and Sinful Colors all included metallic shades in their recent collections. I’m especially loving Revlon’s Blushing – a stunning glittery pink nude, which I’ve linked above.
